1. General description – Kantar Media Norge AS and Fifty5Blue

Kantar Media Norge AS is a Norwegian company within the Fifty5Blue group. Fifty5Blue is a global leader in media measurement and audience analytics, operating in more than 80 countries.

We bring clarity to complexity. Our independent, hybrid cross-media audience measurement combines trusted audience panels with large-scale data to establish a single, coherent view across platforms and markets. This gives content owners, advertisers, agencies, and platforms the clarity and confidence to develop content and plan advertising decisively.

With deep expertise across global media systems, we design integrated, comparable measurement frameworks that support a more consistent and accountable media market.

Kantar Media Norge AS is a leading provider of market research, insight, and advisory services in Norway, with offices in Oslo. Norsk Gallup Institutt is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kantar Media Norge AS.

Employees of Fifty5Blue are highly educated professionals, and the risk of human rights violations is therefore considered low. Nevertheless, Fifty5Blue places strong emphasis on safeguarding employee rights, both during the recruitment process and in employment relationships. We have approximately 46 permanent employees in Norway.

Fifty5Blue respects internationally recognised human rights and tolerates no form of modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains.

2. Policies

Fifty5Blue’s policies set out our expectations for colleagues, suppliers, and business partners. Where non‑compliance with these policies is identified, appropriate measures are implemented.

Our key policies relevant to safeguarding human rights include the following, many of which are available on our website:

  • Our Modern Slavery Statement describes the measures taken to prevent modern slavery and safeguard human rights, including ethical standards applicable to employees and business partners.
  • Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets out ethical requirements for suppliers, including standards relating to human rights, labour practices, and business integrity. Suppliers are required to confirm compliance when entering into contractual arrangements.
  • Our Business Principles define expected behaviours for all Fifty5Blue employees and provide a framework for responsible conduct, including in relation to human rights and sustainability.
  • Our Right to Speak Policy provides for a global, 24‑hour Right to Speak whistleblowing service, SpeakUp, through independent third‑party provider, People Intouch. SpeakUp is available in multiple languages and enables employees to raise concerns about potential misconduct or policy breaches confidentially and anonymously.

3. Processes and Risk Management

Fifty5Blue has implemented processes to monitor compliance with our policies and to identify and manage potential risks relating to human rights.

3.1 Supplier Risk Management

Fifty5Blue works with suppliers across its global supply chain. We aim to engage suppliers that meet our expectations for ethical conduct, employment practices, human rights, diversity, and environmental responsibility.

We recognise that human rights risks may arise at different stages of the supply chain and that certain areas may present higher inherent risk. We have therefore developed a framework to identify and assess such risks.

Kantar Media Norge AS primarily uses suppliers based in Norway as well as suppliers that are part of the Fifty5Blue group. Supplier agreements are generally based on Fifty5Blue’s standard contractual terms.

Our Managing Director has overall responsibility for compliance with the Norwegian Transparency Act and reports to the Board. Our Managing Director is also responsible for supplier assessments.

3.2 Supplier Selection

Supplier onboarding processes at group level include checks relating to ethical standards and human rights compliance. All functions are required to use contracts negotiated or approved by the procurement function. Supplier contracts include a right‑to‑audit clause, enabling audits where appropriate.

Fifty5Blue continuously reviews and improves its policies and procedures to ensure alignment with international human rights standards. Our Procurement, Inclusiveness, and Diversity programme further promotes awareness of ethical conduct and human rights.

3.3 Recruitment

All recruitment and hiring are conducted in cooperation with line management and HR in accordance with established Fifty5Blue processes. This includes verification of the right to work and verification of employment history and education. Pre-employment checks are handled centrally by Fifty5Blue.

Approved recruitment suppliers are required to comply with Fifty5Blue’s ethical standards. Fifty5Blue is committed to fostering an inclusive culture and valuing diversity among our employees, customers, suppliers, and the communities in which we operate.

3.4 Training

Fifty5Blue has had an ethics-related training programme in place since 2022, covering all employees globally. The training focuses on both personal and business conduct, as well as the protection and promotion of human rights.

4. Due Diligence Assessments

4.1 Due Diligence in Norway

Nevertheless, whistleblowing channels are in place to enable employees to report concerns.

4.2 Due Diligence Outside Norway

Kantar Media Norway AS does not operate outside Norway. As part of the Fifty5Blue group, group-level assessments are based on Fifty5Blue’s reporting and monitoring relating to human rights protection across the global supply chain.

To date, no actual or suspected human rights violations have been identified or reported within the group’s supply chain.

5. Findings and Measures
